This is a project about change. Changes in our environment, cities versus country, development, and clashes of culture. It is hoped that the viewer feels tension and ambiguity. Trapunto (mostly central) adds important dimensionality.
I retired from quilting after this project. Too busy with architectural history and theory, and now paint hamburgers in acrylics. Indeed, a brave new world.
